Winter snow traction socks approved by Which. Big reduction in price but any good for motorhomes.

They are used across the entire fleet of our Ambulances.

Not as good as chains but much easier to put on and take off, lighter and easier to store.

I have used them myself and they worked.

They were acceptable instead of chains a few years back in France. Not sure if that’s still the case.

They do seem cheap compared to most but worth a try for £15 👍🏻

I can't see 15 quid ones being much good when branded ones are 50 - 70 quid.

My new ones were about £65 from Halfords but then they are expensive on most things lol

I would think for the conditions they are designed for they will work
Personally I would want to know why they are so cheep
If they come of the tyre and land on the road its probably not a big issue
If they come off and tangle around your drive shafts that could be fun

Like chains the more you pay the better they are. The costlier ones are easier to fit and self centre and tension. The cheep ones are the work of the devil

If you get them practice fitting them
You don't want the first try to be when you are stuck in the dark somewhere

I think its a one off reduction. It says they are Which approved.

Thanks I have ordered a set. There have been a couple of times they would have been useful. I couldn’t work out if they were one size fits all or order by size, but couldn’t find a way to specify size so decided it must be the former! If I’m wrong then I guess I will have something for the Auction next Christmas!
Also my tyre size wasn’t listed 225/70/15, but I guess they will be ok.
I hope there are fitting instructions,

I've got these on a VW T5, found them very good , used them 5/6 times and still good. Most important things for me, apart from the fact they work, is the ease of fitting and removing, and they seem to stand up to gentle use on tarmac once you have cleared the snow. I don't know, but wouldn't be surprised if the £15 ones worked once and got damaged as soon as you clear the snow.

Having said that, getting out of being stuck in snow, is worth £15
