Considering wintering in Spain... where are the most pleasant places to stay?

Thank you. Any particular sites? What’s good about Benidorm in your opinion?

Look at the weather forecasts, the best weather in winter seems to be along that coast; around Valencia to La Manga. Exactly where to go depends on personal preferences:
Do you like busy quiet places, how much do you want to spend, what amenities do you want, sight seeing? Inland or the coast (inland can be colder) etc...
We have been to that area in January for the last two years; 25 to 30 degrees in 2017, around 17 to 18 degrees this year, so hot weather is not guaranteed.

El-Raco is a good site just outside of benidorm, Benidorm is sunny and cheap.

Re Benidorm, the place definitely has its lovers and haters but it’s worth a couple of days, although if we went again we would stay in Altea and take the bus into Benidorm. The view point between Benidorm's two beaches is worth a visit and Old Town is nice. People watching is fun on Lavante Beach and there are plenty of “funsters” at Villasol. Altea’s own viewpoint is nice and the town is interesting but the streets are steep.

It really depends what you want do, Benidorm is like marmite.
If you want to windsurf go to Tarifa
If you want sking go to granada
Lots of brits gandia, benicassim etc
Malaga area is nice and reasonably reliable

I've replied on the other thread.

If you aren’t booked any were you can find as we found out to our cost, ended up on a car park for a week
