We're newbies
I read where people advise to wax the motorhome for the winter weather. Is there a recommended wax or are the ones in the camping shops normal waxes with a different label on them. Liquid or gel type ?
Is it worth buying a complete weather proof cover for the motorhome ? If so, any recommendations without braking the bank on price My unit is 19 foot.

I use Autoglym Polish:thumb:.Not just for winter. As for covers,I don't use one as I use motorhome all year:Smile:.Bit hit & miss.some say that if they are not fitted correctly and its windy it can mark paint work & windows:Sad:.Personaly I would not bother just keep it clean and it should look after itself:thumb:

Wash

Hi

I just use the same stuff all year round - a fiver or so a bottle from supermarkets, just cheap car shampoo.

When the van has really been through the mill, I try to rinse of a load of grime asap. We have a garden plant sprayer with a pump for this. It just helps to get some of the thickest grime off.
