Hi we are looking for a variety of site's in Spain or Portugal December, January or February, we do have a budget of max €300 any help thankfully received. Perhaps different site's as we don't want to spend 2/3 month's on the same site. I have to add we don't have a all singing dancing motorhome, it's a self converted van so I don't mind hiding in the corner supping my beer (which I don't mind shearing). We would like to put some face's to names and meet some funsters. We also have been known to sleep in awning's to save beer token's

Yes sorry €300 for site fees

Other Funsters will know better than me about low cost sites. However, I have seen the advert for Marjal on the Costa Blanca who offer from 346,20 Euros/month but for stays longer than 181 days.
Their web site is www.marjalcostablanca.com

If you don't mind a bit of rough and ready there's Camping Ingrina just up the road from the beautiful beach at Ingrina only a few kilometres from Sagres on the south western tip of Portugal. It's not a campsite as you might know it as you just park where you like but there are some lovely spots to choose from. There are showers, toilets and sinks but again they are not modern. There are some long term resident and some overnighters too.

It's 6.50 euros per person or 40 euros a week - more if you want electricity.

The manager, Colin will see you right.

That said, you can also wild camp just across the road with the same view for nothing but if it's a campsite that you really want then you might want to check it out.

Here are the views from my door on a couple of different spots there earlier this year….

You can probably get that price for long stay on sites in Spain but not sure how long you'd need to do. There are always camperstops where you'd be able to spend a month for €300 (with leccy) but not all of them have toilets (if you need them?)

Small, 6mx7m long, pitches were €328 a month with 16 amp leccy on Ria Formosa, Cabanas last winter.

Camping Roche at Conil de laFrontera do winter offers, have been as lowas €280 a month but I think nearer 300 now.

Should be less than £300 unless something really messes the exchange rate up!

Or someone messes the exchange rate!!!!! Obviously, mentioning no names :cautious:

There are three camperstops in Silves on the Algarve for way under €10 a day.
They include facilities for washing clothes and have lekky in the price.
There's another at Gale between Armacao and Albufeira
Camperpark Gale. The Coords for that one are ; N37.0929431 W8.3115071 This site does get booked up though.

When we stayed there last year we paid around €360 for a double pitch, didn't see anyone on a single pitch.

Edit: Correction we stayed for an extra night or two so it would have been around the €328 but it was for a double pitch appears to be thier standard deal in the winter.

It's on the left hand side of Portugal, N of Lisbon, but within budget.

month 1 = EUR 220, month 2 = 210, month 3 = 200

Casa Azzurra, 5km from Obidos

There is a downside, we will be there probably in January.

Just an aire and not a campsite but the rules are very lax . Awnings and Mats and washings hung out. 4.50 euros per night . Vila Real De Santo António in Portugal. Pretty little town though up past aire is very rundown.

In Portugal you can assist your budget by stopping on free Aires or just wild camp unless you need the facilities.......

Yep you sure can, however the original question was about campsites on a budget in Portugal so that's was what I quoted sorry if I confused things or pointed out the obvious enough !

Hi
If you don't want to travel to Southern Spain you could stop in Murcia, on the Mar Menor lagoon. Los Alcazares has an amazing site called Area NAREJOS, , after the 3rd night you pay €7.90 + €3 for electric. Fantastic facilities, bar, restaurant, 5 mins to beach, 10 mins to town. Stayed there this year. Can you keep it quiet though otherwise it will fill up!
