Wine Warehouse Near Santandar

Hi all, we will be coming home on the Santander Ferry to Plymouth middle of June, where is the best place to load up on wine before getting on the Ferry? Cheers!

Lidl.

but not in santander there is no parking close by. .
we use lidl in torrelavaga , all the big names are in one place . lidl aldi carreforre mercadona dias .
its on the way to sierra panda railway station . sort of south east of the town . loads parking even for big campers .

I use Mercadona in Torrelevaga. Very close to Carrefour if you want to visit both

Any wine warehouse within 5 miles of a port will be overpriced. They know they have you by the short and curlies as next stop is the boat.

Aldi & Lidl are OK

But last year we tried Carrefour and got 100 bottles for £200. Slightly better quality than Lidl and Aldi.

But at those prices, who cares

litre cartons 59cents each . why buy bottles almost a bottle and half in a carton .
i got 500ltr for 250 quid . oh i forgot the 500 litres of argus . and a few brandy . hee hee .

We did try a few plastic bottles and a bit rubbish. But when we have big parties, we put them out at the end when nobody cares about quality

Top tip - don't store the cartons on their side. My wife has just started speaking to me after one leaked and ruined one of her dresses in the wardrobe. Oops.

you must have been careless .
what a waste of nice wine .
i do like the lidl conde noble . but i also like aldi,s bonus . both 59cents .
mind the mercadonna one will do as well.
bit like beer argus red in litre bottles or 18 small cans for peanuts is a nice evenings drink . cant drink 18 cans though , not in one go. ha ha .
drinking some argus at moment mmmmm. thought i was in spain with dbk.
