Some help please?! Hoping to see Windsor Castle in October - any advice with regard to good sites within a reasonable bus trip or walking distance and any other items of interest to see whilst we are staying in that area?

Nice CL of you are in CC at Wokingham and bus is very near .

Address is 166 The Promise , Nine Mile Ride , Finchampstead RG 40 4JA

We stayed at camp site on same road but would not go back .

Passed CL on way home and would use it in future . We were visiting family but would love to go back to visit the castle as have never been .

You don't have to worry about sites here. We did this last year and stayed in the Coach Park at the end of Alma Road next door to the station.
After 6? its free till the morning. Just tell the ticket office you are overstaying and it's fine.
Best Free Site in London. Then pay for the day's parking that is about £10 I think.
