A Woosh bang
Just wondered if anyone had bought a windscreen camera mount for a camcorder and had any comments or recommendations..

I don't want a cheap mount that may vibrate or worse.. come off.. and was looking at this range from Hague Camera Mounts, as used by Top Gear ..

not cheap, but seldom is good cheap.. Link Removed

and in particular this model ..

Not a windscreen mount, but when ive been offroading, ive used two methods.
Method one, was a satnav beanbag mount , method two, was some velcro on the camera and the dash, using the remote for the camera, this gave the best results and on a two week offroading venture in Croatia, provided some very good results. The only problem i ever found, was continually cleaning the windscreen:ROFLMAO:

If you can make any sense of Extreme Facilities website, they are the guys who provide all the GoPro's and minicams for Top Gear.

All use some form of suction mount, probably overkill for your needs, but super strong nevertheless.

As the old saying goes - speed costs money, how fast do you want to go?

The Hague would do the job.

I have used both ( and recently sold both . )
They both work fine and you cannot go far wrong with either.
If you don't have a go pro hd then it may be worth investing in the motor sport kit version ..

Its seriously awesome imho
