A friend of mine is having problems deleting iTunes from his laptop and keeps getting the same error message. We googled the problem which seems very common and tried the suggested solutions but we have not been able to either delete or re-install iTunes. Any help gratefully received.

Sometimes an easy solution is to download and install it again which should replace the missing files and then run the uninstaller.

Thanks for the replies. We did try to install it again hoping it may over write the previous copy but it didn't work. The laptop isn't an apple machine and it is running XP which is no longer being supported.
