Because at best you will only have 3G or maybe 4G which probably won't have enough capacity to handle big downloads. Phones and tablets won't usually update over a mobile data connection either. Connect to a proper wifi network and that should solve it (y)

Origin server overloaded?
Microsoft update "blocked" by browser?
Anti-virus blocking download?
Virus on your machine?

Is it a registered copy? If you type registering or something like that in Windows help you should be able to check.

How big is the update? Could it be that SFR block file downloads over a certain size and you just haven't hit the limit before now? Or are you at the end of the month and not got much data allowance left?

The only fix for Microsoft would be if they bought all their victims customers Macs and promised never ever to mention Windows again.

C'mon! It's tomorrow! Patiently waiting on the next instalment.
As for a Mac, now where did I see that thread on software update issues again? Was it before or after their security fix (that they never need)?::bigsmile:
