I find XFCE to be closer to XP than the newer ones last time I Played. I installed the xfce on a few windows users computers and after a couple of questions never heard from them again....

Given I haven't used XFCE for a while you could be correct but recently was thinking Cinnamon \ Mint 17 was a fair shout to "replace" Win 7.
