Lockdown is becoming even more dangerous as I have too much time to dream of being away in the MH and have been window shopping MH’s too. Have seen some tempting models at BCS Manchester. Anyone dealt with them that can tell me if it’s worth investigating further? Nothing wrong with our lovely van but now we have storage sorted, I fancy going bigger.

I to was seriously looking to change my 7 year old van. After exploring various models I was so disgusted at what was on offer I've decided to keep the van I know.

Have you looked at many Wiljoy?
We have a fantastic van that we love but could really do with one a bit bigger. When we can eventually view any, my worry is they are just not going to measure up. From what you say, I could be right ?

We havn't actually bought anything from them but have visited their showroom three times to look at their stock.
The owner ( who's name escapes me) is very much hands on, invariably in overalls and keeps his indoor showroom, an old bus depot, immaculate!!
There is no pressure selling, all the MH'S are open to view and there is, to us, a nice friendly ambiance about the place. He does keep a good range of Van's and has regular turnover.
My only very slight criticism is that because of his high turnover, a few Van's on display are actually sold so best check before travelling for a particular van.
Having said that, his website is saying at the moment, visits by appointment only.

Under normal circumstances, we stay at the nearby Hollingworth Lake Caravan Park when we visit.

Thanks Barry, that’s really useful to know as it would be a long drive of over 200 miles there (once restrictions are lifted) to find out that they’d sold the van we like. Good to know of a local site too ??
