Just had a cold call by a Mr. Russell offering to etch the van windows with the reg. no., had it done, charged me £18. Every window clearly marked, I think he did quite a nice job and if anyone is interested he's from Lincoln, 07876616163

He used to go round the shows etching windows, I'm surprised he's cold calling.

My daughter etches beer glasses etc as she loves crafts, I might get her to try the stuff she uses on my window to see if it works....(thanks it could be a nice sideline earner for her if it works) of course less my commission 🤣🤣👌👍👍👍🤑🤑

Had my vehicles done by Secure It Uk. Mobile home or work £25 a vehicle does windows, door mirrors, front and rear lights and even wheel trims if you want then done. Tel 07846 437647 E-mail secureituk@sky.com

I had forgot about that
Used to be a job for the apprentice
Used to be a real pain when someone decided to change to a personalised number

Bit of a thread resurrection.
Nigel Russell from Securi-Mark called round to do my van this afternoon. All windows and headlights etched for £20. Another layer of security added.

Mr Russell has etched the glass on several of my vehicles over the years, including my current PVC. He must pass by regularly as he calls on whenever he sees a new vehicle chez Toadifact.

I can recommend him without reserve.

Had a car done once and when I looked at it they got one number wrong. They said they would etch it out and do it again underneath. Make it look like it’s been stolen and re-etched I said? No thanks and consequently they had to replace all the glass!
