Cheaper here if even after adding delivery.

Never done one but looks like they slide and clip on and maybe a single screw to secure them.

Thanks to all . I’ll fiddle around and see how to fit them - once I’ve calmed down

TBH if they had a good time and are fit 'n well a couple of broken clips wouldn't concern me in the slightest.
Worse things 'appen at sea (and I've been there).

Just have a close look on the fixed part of the unit (not the handle !) there's possibly a little hole that you can push a thin screwdriver into which let's you detach the bracket from the window ?

I did spot the hole - I’ll take a closer look

I have loads of these but not locking ones. You are welcome to have them foc. I changed all the window catches on a previous van for locking type. To remove, if I remember correctly, you put something in the little hole to release and slide off sideways.

Many thanks for advice I have some new ones coming in the post

That looks like them any idea how easy to fit ?

For you it should be a pleasure in watching said SiL fit them

On second thoughts.....

Arrgggh ! Just what I didn't want to hear....my son and his girlfriend are making subtle hints at borrowing the MH...my son can break something just by looking at it....his modus operandi is “if it doesn’t work first time apply more force” ☹️

And that is exactly what he did - “doesn’t move” - force it . I suspect a health dose of rum didn’t help - he also broke the towel rail

In their defence, the plastic does get brittle after a while. They no doubt didn't push in the button before applying force

as said, push in indent and slide off the mounting block and slide on replacement

This goes to prove just how easy it is to break open a plastic window

He probably hasn't discovered the other stuff that's broken yet ...

You've learned a valuable lesson ... don't let anyone use your MH ... what if they had broken something that wasn't easily sorted? Not worth the risk IMV.

No way would I let anyone use ours EVER ... it may be deemed to be selfish but I don't give a stuff!

All sorted folks - new ones obtained and fitted , and to answer your other questions a) what were they doing to break the towel rail - I dare not ask b) was it essential - that restriction is long gone in England c) will I ever lend it again ? Probably as I’m a soft sod .
