Window blinds (1 Viewer)

Any advice out there on how to clean the window blinds. Not sure what the material is but it feels like paper!! So, I'm not able to rub them too hard.

I used to remove mine and place them in a bath of hot water and detergent. I agitated them by lifting up and down to open and close them. Followed by a good rinse, and hung up to dry. Certainly cleaner than they were.
