Just thought I'd share this tool i use to save the ends of my windbreaker pole tips..
I think it's probably a gardening tool for sowing seeds?? I don't know.
It's solid steel and I bang it in first where the pole is about to go. It smashed stones /flints and hard mud out of the way so the breaker pole can slide in without damage..works a treat!
I also use a bit of wood to bang the top down as well to help protect the top.
Oh and the bit of guy line attached is used for pulling out tent /awning pegs .
