Morning all can anyone give me advice wether a wind out
awning can be fitted to the side of a bailey m/h the standard
normal way they are fitted to most m/h.
Only asking because at the nec yesterday talking to a bailey
representative and they said it needed to be fitted with special
alu tec brackets on to the roof, then got contrasting information
from a thule representative,???

Talk to an awning specialist like Rose Awnings or Hillview Awnings they are the 2 main distributers for Thule and both fit them.

Brent from Hill View Awnings is your man (y)

we have a Fiamma fitted to our Bailey but it came like that on a preused vehicle, the awning fits onto the side. we used to have a swift bolero where the awning was 'sort of' integrated into the body structure and looked much nicer than our Bailey

I was talking with Justin from rose awnings yesterday
and he assured me it was ok to fix to the side of
the m/h and bailey were out of order putting
doubt in my mind , just wanted to check before
i gave him the go ahead today.

I think that the roof mounted are better as the awnings don't stick out of the side.
Depends on the van and the owners preference.

Is the moho an alutec body maybe needed alutec brackets to uphold the water ingress warranty just a suggestion
