I've got a scooter rack already fitted to my Knaus. I'm thinking of getting a 50cc as I can ride without a full test and carry a pillion.
My question is will a 50cc manage that? Together we'd be about 18 stone. We only want to pootle about or should I bite the bullet and sign myself up for a full bike test so we can at least use a 125cc.
I've considered a piaggio MP3 LT but I'd have to have a trailer which I'm not keen on but could be convinced otherwise.
So functors what advice can you give me?

Cheers
Too small an engine for two. I took my bike test and never regretted it. 125 cc is much better.

Not ideal as too big for those without a bike licence and small for someone with, but all over Europe Woman and I used a Honda 90 step through and it was more than good enough even on the stiffest hills :)

Years ago I used a 50cc scooter to run to the shops when on a site. It was OK for that but steep hills were out and it would be useless for carrying a passenger.
