I tried that at a few petrol stations and got refused .....at one station I spotted a tap and thought it was the garages and started to fill up to then get an irate woman in a dressing gown banging on her window at me lol

not long enough
can you wild camp en mass?

surely this goes against all the principles of wilding

but then a mini meet may only mean 2 of you I guess

find a CL or CS make a proper do of it for less than £10 night normally, free water, free dump

One club did it for a fishing weekend in the car park behind the Co-op in Whitby. Guess what is banned now.

Choose a site wisely :)

more than 3 vans requires either a site licence or an exemption certificate and the land owners permission. So do beware of putting Jims licence at risk by advertising what could be an illegal gathering.

The Wildcamping forum do have meets at times but I think they are mostly pubs, some have been lots of vans with the pubs permission (as in the Station at Ribble head and the Navigation at Whaley Bridge). Would any landlord not allow their pub to filled by drinkers.:LOL:

The beauty of a pub is there's somewhere to sit and natter, and of course drink.

meets in a pub carpark when accompanied by the fun exemption certificate would be legal as you would have the land owners permission so no problem. Find ANY site with the landowners permission and hold an advertised (on forum) meet and you are legally covered for up to 5 days.
