Any ideas for best option of wifi booster.
Something cheap will only use occasionally.
Search brings up hundreds £30 to over £500

I agree, it is probably the broadband signal that you are wanting to improve, rather than the WiFi.

There we go my ignorance of tec stuff.
I thought i needed one to improve my phone signal to stream tv on firestick.
Is this still the case?

I thought i needed one to improve my phone signal to stream tv on firestick.
Is this still the case?
You need a 3G/4G booster not WiFi. You can't do anything with the phone not quite there are some illegal ones about but how well they work is debatable.
You need a MIMO antenna with a Mifi wireless router that you will need to use a seperate SIM in. As you are not techie Motorhome WiFi do a kit but you can put the bits together yourself a lot cheaper.

What would you say was a good antenna Lenny?

Have a Netgear M2 that is a brilliant bit of kit for pulling a signal we did 8 countries in May without any problems, when we were on our last trip in September had a few places in Germany and Belgium that we struggled to steam Netflix so I was thinking about a decent external antenna for the roof.
