I currently own a 2017 Swift Bolero. However I visited the NEC Motorhome Show yesterday and want to buy the Cathago Liner for two on an Iveco engine. Including all the extras it comes to £160,000 ish.

The current wife won't let me buy one! Boo hoo. (The money is there). So the question is, does anybody else want to marry me.....?! ?

This conversation reminds me of this joke

A couple are out for dinner in a smart restaurant. Halfway through the meal an attractive blonde comes to the table and plants a kiss on the husband.

The wife soon asks 'Who is that?'

Husband honestly replies 'That is my Mistress'. Silence.

After 5 minutes the Wife says 'I want a divorce'

The Husband thinks for a few minutes and then says 'OK, but you do realise splitting will mean the end to the villa in S. of France, the winter cruises, the holidays in Florida and the skiing holidays'

A few minutes later a mutual friend walks into the restaurant with a brunette on his arm. Wife asks 'Who is that with Michael?' Reply is 'That's his Mistress'

Wife says 'Ours is much prettier'

At first I thought my hubby had posted this as he fell in love with a new Rapido with a Mercedes engine with a 1350 payload including a separate shower that he actually fits in at the NEC today (everything he dreams of in a motorhome). A snip at £105k before a few other bits and bobs he would add. I said NO. He is now very quiet and I am not sure if sulking or plotting how to still get one.

I heard rumours that she wouldn't let you buy it because it is too cheap for her; she has her eye on a more luxurious motor home, more in keeping with her fine tastes and Italian sense of style ...

Yes, but when you got that much money it's called designer.
Truly a gin palace, much too much bling for most

It's simple buy one in Germany import it yourself and give the 20 grand you save to her to spend how she wants.

Only flaw in this approach she may spend it on a divorce.

Can you imagine the noise when that lot goes over a typical UK road surface.

Also experienced that super recliner seat in Cathagio Liner for 2 - I understand your predicament and look forward to hearing the conclusion , so I can try it too!!

Well that's spooky, I too am half Italian but I would love the brand new Cathargo, unfortunately my husband can't afford one!!!
Maybe a deal is possible after all ?

Dear Suvoz
Now we're getting somewhere. I can afford the Cathago. Mia Madre di Modena. devi essere in grado di cucinare cibo italiano.
I have slept with worse
Do you mean the Cathago Liner for two or my wife?

So Husky looks like the deal could get voted out again - I'm vegetarian!

Sucoz. Existing wife is vege. You'll fit right in....

We also loved the Liner 4 two and was offered PX more than we paid for our Chic c line from the same dealer we bought it from to exchange for the van.

We then looked out how we use our van and it was soon noted that we travel to warm climate regions throughout the year and when it came down to it we spend a .lot of time outside the van than in the van.
When you start looking at the layout of the van it is set for long evenings inside entertainment/use. Thats all well and good when you maybe Skiiing or holidaying in the UK.
Its a lot of money sitting there when you are parked up cooking outside, eating outside and drinking outside.
After all that we would still love one but cannot see the benefit.

Go on you only live once.
