Why re badge (1 Viewer)

Just noticed a nice A class on our morning walk .Saw it had a Mercedes badge on the rear.I commented to wife that Mobiliveta must be using Mercs now.
However as we walked by it was a Fiat cab.
Why the badge ?

Oh! I did not know Iveco were Fiat. I was always under the impression Iveco were a bit special.

Pretty special but everybody appreciates them,

Oh dear,just realised I have contradicted myself by agreeing he must be a plonker.
Why ?
Because I purchased a number plate with hymer spelt out for our Hymer van.Plonker!

I think you will find that Iveco although owned by Fiat,are all Rwd and have Soffin produced engines (again subsidiary of Fiat )The same engines are used by Renault although in front wheel drive form

maybe it has done the legendary Merc million miles..

The Fiat Ducato 2.3 and 2.8 JTD , and later models with 130,150 and 180 Multi-jet are all Iveco Engines.
