Very sad to see a car on it's side on the A28 between Rouen and Abbeville, northbound, this morning. Looked as though an A-frame had failed leaving a gap of about 40 metres between car and motorhome.
Sorry ICR, but the road was busy at the time and I was going south. I think there are not very many A-frames used by the French - yes, they do exist, but not in the sort of numbers used by the British.
That is the sort of mishap I wouldn't wish in anybody, but at least there wasn't an ambulance on scene. Two police vehicles, the pompiers and just arriving was one of the motorway support vehicles to lay out the protective cones and flashing yellow lights. I went past just before midday.
