Anyone got one? I was hoping to get away with cleaning the van in the layby with a hand pump sprayer but that's a no go!

So, now looking at one of these worx hydroshots and seem to be several versions so wondering if anyone has one and rates a particular model over another?

I have the karcher battery operated one and it’s great at cleaning. Not as much pressure as a mains powered one but has the ability to suck water from a bucket if you don’t have access to a tap. It’s perfect for cleaning motorhome 👍

I've got one, didn't know they did different models, mine has all the attachments. If also recommend a bigger battery and fast charger of you're going to use it on the van, the supplied battery won't last long enough.

For those that aren't sure about pressure washers, it's nowhere near as powerful as a mains one and the nozel is adjustable for different jets. I'm full time in the van and it was worth bringing along.

I have the 20v Hydroshot. It is more like a power washer than a pressure washer so it is not hazardous to paint or seals. I bought it so I could wash a car using a couple of buckets, because no outside water tap is close by. This method is just about adequate to wash the sides of our PVC on one battery charge.

In reality the most useful feature is the bottle adapter. I can attach a 1.5 litre cola bottle full of water, and use that to do a quick wash for a small area especially rinsing off bird poo. Or washing a window.

In no way is it really suitable to clean a patio or decking, IMO.

Thanks all, yeah Ive been wary about the pressure but have been assured several times that it's not as good / powerful as a proper mains pressure washer. Just need something with a bit more oomph than a hand pump one.

I've got a hydrashot, as been said not as powerful as mains one which again is not as powerful as some petrol motor ones, you picks your horse. Is certainly a lot better than some of garages ones they charge you for

Got a hydro shot 20v one still in the box unopened, I’ve only had it 2 weeks. 🙈🤦‍♂️ Hopefully test it out on the car when this flipping wind eventually dies down. 😬

That sounds like the reply of someone who has not got a Worx Hydroshot and wished they had one. :ROFLMAO:

One connects to the mains water the other a bucket or drum

I have the 20v Hydroshot and 2 batteries, one will last 3 quarters of the van and then need the next to finish it off.

I have to use it with a bucket but if you can have a hosepipe, it saves having to fill buckets.

I like it and it’s powerful enough to clear all mud in wheel arches and green stuff on roof.

Must be different than mine cos this thing is shit!
Got the one with 2 batteries, charged up, read the instructions and tried it, theres more pressure on my mains hosepipe. I wasn't expecting the same as a plug in pressure washer like a karcher but this is pathetic.
It's going back.

It has 2 settings, the higher setting works really well for me , but I have a coating on my van so maybe it doesn’t need blasting.

I though that there are different cordless models which will equally mean different pressures and length of battery operation? the good one is around £200?

this only has one setting, maybe thats the issue :-/

Yup, got the 20V one with the brushless motor, got it from Amazon Marketplace for £132.
Use it for washing my off road bike before putting it back in the van. As people have said it's not as powerful as most garage ones but I'm really impressed, washes mine and two friends bikes and still has battery left.
