Seaview Caravan Park at Swalecliffe isn't too far, it's been a long time since we stayed there but I remember you could walk along the sea front to Tankerton & Whitstable or Canterbury C & CC site, bus into Canterbury then bus to Whitstable.

Yes we have stayed there, good for walks and not far from docks for various seafood.
