Hi all,

Recently purchased a 2007 Niesmann & Bischoff that had the pictures CBE charger.

Upgraded to lithium so this not suitable but wondering what the thin white cable connected between the charger and CBE wiring box (part of the complex control system) is for?

Was plugged in to the small round spade terminal marked with an s.

I could have a guess (some kind of charge signal or demand) but would like to know for sure to see if it is now redundant or can be wired in to the upgraded system.

Many thanks

P.

I think all you lose is the icon on the central control panel (based on other posts) Suggest stich off/disconect charger and see what it does. I havent seen anyway to re-deploy it in other posts

Thank you.

Given the almost unreadable condition of my display panel this is no loads!

The manual says,

"Signal 12V 50mA, indicates that the charger is connected to the 230V mains"

The white wire on my Carthago has been disconnected for a while now, only impact has been the indication on the panel that the ehu/charger are connected no longer shows.

So a signal to this would indicate on control panel (if it was legible, see.my other posts).

Could be usefully deployed later somewhere now you have all been good enough to tell me the details.

Pretty sure I will be busy enough with other things though and learn to live without.

Thanks again.
