There are still a few spots far end of the car park suitable for motorhomers and there were lots first thing this morning.

We’re leaving in 3/4 hour and heading up to the rally .

Lots and lots of black goth gear in the charity shops for anyone who wants to dress up this weekend , and keep it inexpensive too . We are even doing it tonight now too !
Men’s shirts , t-shirts , jackets waistcoats . Lots of corsets , skirts proper 2nd hand goth gear, long coats velvet jackets etc

Lovin' the costumes! Showed this to Himself and could not believe how enthusiastically he said "yes, if you want to go next April, I'll get dressed up". Of course, he has a particularly unique sense of humour so no idea what the eventual costume might be ....

Does anyone know the dates for the April 2018 festival yet? Will it be 20-22nd ?? They seem to usually pick the third weekend of the month.

This probably makes me a heretic, and subject to being drummed out of Funsters ...... but I just spoke to a (ssshhhh) caravan site to make a booking for next April's Goth Festival.

According to the site I spoke to, the dates have just been released as 27th - 30th April 2018

Well we made it back ok without crashing on the moors and dying,we are home now all unpacked and ready to relax with pint of cider ,had a fab long weekend with some great people,many thanks again go to Bob and vall and all the rest of the helpers that make it such a great meet.we hope that we will be able to see you all again next year . It's just a real shame Rosemary stored my suit etc in that special shrinking wardrobe we seem to have at home because when I came to put it on ,on Saturday it had shrunk,the jacket and the trousers ,I can't understand it ,I really can't . ....... Steve and rosemary.

A big thank you to Bob & Val and the other Funster helpers - we had a brilliant 1st goth weekend - met lots of lovely people, had lots of laughs, it was an excellent fun rally from beginning to end, and tried lots of delicious vodka's! Hope everyone has a safe journey home, thanks again
