Don’t want Fiamma Privacy Room but like the thought of free standing tent / gazebo.
Seen the Vango Hex Hub and Berghaus Air Shelter. Both inflatable. Any points of view from this motorhoming community please.
We have a Burstner Travel Van t620.
An inflatable like the Kampa Air Porch either blocks habitation door or makes garage inaccessible!! Even the smaller Kampa 260 doesn’t seem to be an option.
Thanks in advance

Many of us like the Quest Popup Gazebos... 4 or 6 person size.
Cheap, easy to erect, flexible & cheap!

Sorry don’t really know. Just have to say I love your avatar.

Bought the 4 person one plus sides put it up in the garden then put it away and not used it so would be willing to sell it as I have given up because my wife,s health alzhiemers as gone down quick

Our Burstner does not have a wind out canopy/awning fitted but we have a C rail fitted along the roofline.

We use a Kampa Rally Air 330 slotted into this rail if we are staying on a site for a week or more.

For occasional use we use a Kampa Shade Canopy....

Which is fairly lightweight and has fold away sides and front which you can use independently of each other.

So sorry to hear about your wife :(
If you can be bothered, I'd put an advert in the classified section - I'm sure someone would be keen to have it.

Are these used unconnected to the motorhome? We wanted something that you could store shoes and outdoor clothes in on a wet day, when you come back, but do not have a wind out awning to "bridge" the gap

yes they are unconnected to the motorhome

Yes - sorry, thought you wanted "freestanding" rather than "driveaway".

Thanks everyone, off to look at the Quest on the Internet.
Thanks Glen re avatar. I loved the time we spent in Morocco over the years and this is a constant reminder!!

They often have them in Robert Dyas and then they do discounts over the bank holiday weekend. Ours has withstood 4 x 6 week spells in Beni now.

Ideal World have them for £150 at the mo. (and there's another, non branded one somewhere for £110)

Worth looking on the bay of thieves and amazon.
There are some deals to be had (y)

We had a six sided one but SWMBO wanted a smaller one.
So sold the six sided one and bought a four

Couldn’t be easier to erect (ohh err missis) and drop.

Advice to anyone thinking of getting this type ... do NOT be tempted to buy the non-branded one, we've had them and they are cr@p compared to the Quest one.

That's easy for you to say, there is a member on here who had a complete nightmare at Newbury a couple of years ago
trying to master the erection. Had to take it back to the retailer who realised it was inside out.

Funny you should say that.
