Just Looking
I am looking to buy my first Motorhome. I am looking for:
  1. Island bed
  2. Large garage for 2 E-Bikes
  3. 4 berth and 4 belts, however 90% of time will only be just the two of us
  4. As a new price looking to keep it below £100K
My current list all Auto is.

  1. Adria Matrix Supreme 670 DC 140 BHP £103K
  2. Fiat Swift Kon-Tiki 794 180 BHP £97K
  3. Fiat Rapido 696F Ultimate line 180 BHP £96K
  4. Chausson Titanium Ultimate 788 170 BHP £82K
which would people in the know suggest and is the Adria worth £20K more than the Chausson? Any advice greatly appreciated

Rent, more than once, before you buy.

You may then find, as we did, what we thought we wanted was very different to what we eventually wanted and then bought.

(Bikes can go on the back, towball mounted carriers are best. We also though we wanted an 8m van, very quickly got that down to maximum 7m. We also started with an island bed on the spec, found them very small and waste a lot of space and ended up looking at two singles that joined together )

Hi
We have a 2019 Adria 670 DC Supreme and are very pleased with it, especially the large island bed. Prior to this we had the Adria 670 SL, again very pleased with it, just preferred the island bed over the singles whilst still retaining a large garage.

"Is Adria worth £20K more than the Chausson" sorry can't help with that as I have no experience of the Chausson brand.

I’d also suggest you look at the Knaus range, we have one and in our opinion it’s far superior to the Adria Matrix 670SL we had.

Knaus are superb but they have to be specified correctly otherwise it goes horribly wrong!

Agree about the towball mounted bike rack. We carried bikes in the garage of our first two Adrias. Moved to rear mounted bike racks and now have a towball mounted Thule. By far the best arrangement albeit exposed to the weather. Too much faff getting full sized bikes into/out of a garage. Towball mounted height is perfect for aging backs, ours even has a detachable ramp.

Those two don't go together, unless you go for a large van probably quite a way outside your budget.
Twin bed vans give the best size garage that is why they are so popular.

Do you have a C1 licence as most island bed models can't be run at 3500 kg.

It won’t matter which one as you will probably change within 2 years due to it being the wrong layout, colour or you have seen something better.

My requirements are similar to yours and I have a Pilote G740 180 Bhp on 4.4 tonne heavy chassis on order. I also specified the electric height adjustable bed that gives you a larger garage.
