Which Insurance? (1 Viewer)

Anyone out there have suggestions re. House Insurance & Travel Ins? Mine are reluctant to increase the max time we can go away for longer than 60 days at a stretch. We've been away for 4 months in the last year, ( 3 trips), but want to go for longer (of course!) So,- which companies don't mind your property being left empty all winter? :thanks:

All winter, I think you may have to drain down da heating (unless you specifically have a froststat setting) and arrange for regular inspections by a trusted third party.

Unless anyone else knows different?

Most companies do 60 days, C& CC do 180 also Comfort insurance do 180, I have just changed to Comfort has we are going 6 month in 2013 Jan to July.

Comfort a bit dear but I couldn,t go with the C & CC who were quite a bit cheaper due the us living in what they class has a flood zone,
The only other way to use the 60 day cover is to have somebody stop over night then the 60 days start again. Pete :thumb:
