Hi - we currently have a 'pup tent / Gazebo' for use with out 5.4m Globecar Roadscout. It doesn't get used as much as it should because of the hassle with doors and zips so I'd prefer something that would attach to the van and you could leave the sliding door open for easy access. We don't have a pull out awning to attach to though so I am not sure whether we should be looking at Low, Mid or tall and what we might need for a snug fit? Any thoughts / recommendations / things to avoid?

Thanks!

PS We usually seem to end up in windy places though so it needs to be pretty stable / solid when left on it's own!

Not what you are looking for but have you considered the Quest pop-up screenhouse? I have the older model and it is great - up in minutes and takes a good bit of hammer from the wind. The newer versions do allow for attaching to the van.
A lot of Funsters use them.

When we had our Topaz we bought an Outdoor Revolution Midi and put it in the shed when we part-ex’d the camper.
Its still in there 😂.
We had a wind out awning so the drive-away was attached to that with a Kadar (?) strip but I understand you can attach a rail to your van or throw the straps over the van (using tennis balls as weights) and tether it that way.
If you want ours you can have it for free and if it’s suitable make a donation to a local charity.

I see you are in Runcorn so not that far away from us (Leigh). Would check that it’s still OK if you are interested.

Hi - and thanks! 👍

It's hard for my inexperienced eye to tell for sure that it's what we'll need long term, and I can't find the model on line. However I'm sure it would be a great introduction to them for us, so we'll gladly take you up on your kind offer.

We are away up North until Tuesday, but if you find it OK I'll arrange a time with you to come for it soon after that.

All the best
Paul

That’s fine. Will check it tomorrow and confirm it’s still ok. Just let me know when you are coming back
