many many years! since I was a kid
Both the CC and the C&CC membership get you a discount on insurance with most companies

Choosing which one if any is a dificult question, as we are all different and are looking for our own perfect scenario. I say that one club doesnt suit all I enjoy, but by joining more I can pick and choose. The C&CC for instance has special interest groups for everything from boating to photography and rambling that meet up regularly. Both clubs do escorted foreign tours which are great for some people.

I am sure that others will be along soon to tell you about how good any number of other clubs are, and the list is pretty long. Just have a think about what you want to do when away in your van, and Im certain you will find something that suits

If you're aged 55 or over there are substantial discounts on Camping and Caravanning Club sites outside peak season.

Also, the CCC have a large number of holiday rallies up and down the country, which you can just turn up at (usually without booking) and stay for one night or as long as you like at very low cost. We find them particularly good value during main summer school holidays, when other sites have inflated prices. Also like not needing to book.

we have been members of CCCC for a few years and found they have a lot more sites than the CC club however this year we are going to join the CC as we want to use the small 5 van fields a lot more.

Well that`s our 13th year & still loving it.
clubs?

Hi, we are in both the CC and C&CC, have to say we prefer the Caravan Club as their sites are pretty much all the same standard wise, so you know what you are going to get.
Some people say that the wardens can be a little too much rule book controlled but you can find this attitude anywhere.
Lots of chats on here about how the Caravan Club campsites get booked up early at the beginning of the year by people that book for the whole year and then don`t turn up, well we have just booked a months touring starting in South Wales going into North Devon and on to Cornwall.
All Caravan Club sites some the smaller CL sites and didn`t have any trouble findng a pitch, all booked on the phone rather than using the internet.

We will keep our membership up in the C&CC though as depending on which area you are travelling to pretty much decides which campsite you will be staying at.
Whichever you chose we hope you have a wondeful time.
