Help - the winter blues are creeping in and we need a last minute get away for the weekend -please can anyone suggest a place with a view or by water,canal or sea which hasn't closed it's doors for the season.

Thanks everyone - looking into all the suggestions. we don't close the van up for winter but keep it ticking over ready for quick, good weather getaways. Boxing day last Christmas was a dash over the channel to St Malo ( booked a few days before, after looking at the weather forecast) had a great week around Brittany in the frost and sun and amazing night skys, went to Honfleur for New Years Eve nothing going on, but the Aire was full and only one other Brit.
Love this game !!
