As there are hints there may a relaxation in the lockdown rules in the (reasonably) near future but various countries will be banning tourists for a while where will you go for your first trip? My problem is if I reveal where I want to go will you all want to go there too?
Oh, O.K, I’m thinking the lakes & NC 500 will be manic so it’s my all time favourite North Norfolk coast for me, then we will do our ‘2020 50th wedding anniversary’ trip to Italy next year hopefully. Stay safe everybody!

Right now I would take a local CL or CS just to break this monotony. We should be on the Outer Hebrides as I type, but like you I would like to be in North Norfolk, possibly on the Sherringham THS later on in the year will do for me. (y)

Just a short run of about twenty minutes down to the sand sculptures at Bolnuevo would suit me fine at the moment. looking out over the med with a cuppa, beautiful.

I am looking at it in two bites; firstly, when we are allowed to travel internally, in our case Poland, and secondly, when the borders are open, which hopefully would be Germany and France to get to France. I think we would not be able to get to Greece this year.

We have not toured Poland much so that would be OK for starters, although Basia knows more of it than I do.

Thankfully we do not have to worry about ferries and booking, so whenever we are free to travel we just have to load with water and food and go - servicing was done just before lockdown.

We'd probably want to go up to the coast locally and stop on the sea front for a couple of days just to have a break, but unfortunately irrespective of the lockdown or not that won't be happening due to our Romy as there's no way we can be away from home with her urine infection and kidney disease (and Cushings disease) as we're having to wash her bedding several times a day and I can't take the washing machine with me and hang it out to dry on the beach!

To get us back into travel mode the Yorkshire coast or Norfolk might be a good idea. Both are about two hours comfortable drive for us. We found a few places on the Yorkshire coast we havnt stayed at with some nice looking walks. Sadly we will have to leave muttly with daughter. I had to carry him the last half mile back to the site last trip. His launching legs are a bit wonky now.
