Bar and I have a week off work after Newark and were thinking of staying on in the Lincolnshire area, probably Cleethorpes. Ok, it might not be as grand as it way 50 years ago and it wasn't that grand then! But, we've got family living there and fancied stopping off immediately after Newark show.
Can anyone recommend a camp site that can accomodate a 34 foot motorhome?
If so, anyone fancy a mini-meet?

Regards

That's just the sort of thing we're looking for. Many thanks for the tip.

You could try Lakeside Park a bit further south at North Somercotes. Open all year will take up to 40ft. Grid: TF 433 959 Lat: 53.4401 Long: 0.1538 Link Removed

Glad you've got some help.
I must admit if it was me (and no family connection) I'd probably choose a site like this one -

I spent many a 'happy' month in Immingham dry-docking ships and Cleethorpes was where we stayed while the ship was uninhabitable. If I never went there again it would be soon enough. :Eeek:

Tend to agree with your sentiments about location BUT Strid Wood can only take babies up to 28ft maximum - and the requirement was for 34ft at least.

Hi you can always try Thorpe Park, you might hate it but if you have kids they will love it. In fact now you can't smoke inside the entertainment rooms, I think I would quite enjoy a couple of days there again.
