go early and check out the Christmas markets, germany even has a special web site for the Christmas markets. Then decide where to stay.

If Hamburg is your destination or nearby, take the A7 towards Flensburg. Turnoff for Kaltenkirchen. Turn left at the lights, then take the next right at the next lights. Follow the road under a bridge and 300 metres on your left is a Camping area, strictly for Motorhomes. It is FREE of charge and stay as long as you like. They have bins for your disposal. Water and slopping out is also available a few hundred metres along side the Recreational center. €2 tokens is available from the Rec: center across the road. Shops like Aldi, Plus and Lidl are a few minutes walk away. Hamburg is a 35 minute drive from here back along the A7.
Hope this helps.

I'm sure there will be plenty of room as most German M/H will be in Southern Spain with all us Snow Birds. :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:
