Just got my R300 dashcam (thanks RichardB). I'm just wondering where others mount theirs as I've tried it in the rear mirror position (no mirror present) but the interior blinds don't close. So any ideas about alternative mounts (possibly) or positions would be gratefully received. I have a 2015 Ducato based MH. Also where do you get your 12 V supply from and route the cable?

Mine is in top corner of the screen on the passenger side, cables run down behind the trim, GPS receiver is on the dash at the bottom of the trim, power is from a USB power supply under the dash wired to the ignition radio feed.

In the van mine (Mio 518) is mounted so it looks through the approximate area previously occupied by the tax disk. Similar in the car but in the top left of the windscreen.

On a standard swivel mount on the front edge of the bottom of the drop down bed. Mounting on the official windscreen mount blocks the operation of the front blinds.

On a less Space Shuttley note, someone gave me a cheapo Chinese daschcam to try out recently, and I don't like windscreen clutter so I used a camera clamp to fix it to the driver's headrest. I'm thinking if I fix it permanently I'll hang it above the headrest so it's out of the way but seeing what I see.
