Where to park during the day near Welshpool

We are looking for somewhere to park up for the day near Welshpool, I will be working, and the boss will want somewhere close by to walk the dog. Any ideas appreciated.

Tesco and council car parks are close to centre. Not sure of daytime charge. Powys council allows free over night but only for one night in seven.

Hi Barry, if you approach w/pool on the A483 from direction of Oswestry, I think its 1st rounabout signed town centre as you turn right there's a car park on the left, have seen M/Homes overnight on there,
