Where to go in Portugal?? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

Hoping you can help.
We are heading to Lourdes tomorrow for a few days and then down to Portugal prob by Wed/Thurs. Can anyone recommend a good campsite or aire (dog friendly so not just a big car park, he likes a bit of grass!) and close to a golf course (hubby now having withdrawals ). Not sure of an area yet but we want the good weather. All suggestions welcome.

i can recommend Albufeira Camping.it was great when we lived in portugal but have been back since 95.worth a google i reckon

Chicken Run at Mexilhoeira Grande about 10 miles from Coast in Algarve and a 10 minute walk into village which has supermarkets, bars and a bank etc
A rural CL type site run by a smashing English family.

He is a mature black Labrador with a very gentle nature and I am sure he doesn't bother with cats
In February when we stopped there we walked into the village and he followed us all the way
