I had a bit of Trouble getting on the ramps. You can see the skid marks on the grass. The camp owner was very helpful and loaned me the slip mats. The van slid down hill and fell off the ramp damaging the plastic tray underneath. I’m going to order some when I get home.
what is the best sort to get and where to order them from please?

They are Fiamma ones I think. Milenco also make them.
But if you want something much more substantial have a look at Tracmats.

Get an E&P levelling system fitted, that will sort it out getting up on ramps. ;)
We are trading the van in and getting new. It’s definitely on the list of options! It’s my first mh and I am still living and learning!

I bought a couple of cheap rubber mats many years ago in Portugal and they go under my front wheels whenever I stop on grass, so far they have not failed me despite the back end sinking in a bit. The type with the holes in

Some options for you:
Two strips of carpet - get off cuts - you can either roll them up or keep them in your garage.
Or
Try using the interlocking mats like what you get on a gym floor - I’ve laid these in my garage to protect the floor. They’re lightweight and you usually buy a pack of eight and they interlock.
Or
Buy some cheap car footwell rubber mats.

I’ve used the yellow plastic skid mats and they weren’t very good in my experience but may be useful for your requirements.
