just booked Eurotunnel out 18th May and booked back on the 29th June now need suggestions as to which way to go this year, hopefully ending up coming around Brittany back to Calais.
Suggestions with possible sites(ACSI) within walking distance of small towns or villages.

Loads of time. Wander down Germany, enjoy the Moselle, the Rhein, Rhein falls, camp on the Neckar and visit Heidelberg. Fussen is a joy.

Or discover Italy.

Brittany - boring.

We are going to go to Pompei.. Might be worth considering ?
Take your time through Germany and Austria then a bimble down the west coast of Italy.. About 5 or 6 weeks worth

We're going out a week earlier and returning a week before you. Get All the Aires and choose.
We're possibly doing a little West, then over to the East, Germany and possibly Italy and who knows where we'll end up. Well actually, we know where we'll end up. At home but it's coddywompling in between and as we get back just in time for Misterton.

I've told you before to keep quiet about Germany.

It's already a well kept secret but anyway it's one big country, it can take a few more.

But not that big, Calais/Koblenz/Fussen which represents a really enjoyable slice of German and a stone's throw from Italy is 600 miles and takes in the Moselle, Rhein and ends in Germany's number one attraction, Neuschwanstein.

Warning: If you visit a German campsite you will want to redecorate your whole home when you come home, they are that good. Food excellent, people excellent and nearly all English speakers.
