Following on from the other thread where Exmouth are considering changing their MoHo policy by banning overnighting along the sea front but proposing to provide proper facilities elsewhere for motorhomes.

Is there anywhere else on the South Coast that provides proper facilities for motorhomes

On 3rd van so not a total newbie....
If they go ahead with 100 parking spaces I think it will be great, and could spur on other towns to do the same.

Me too, it's about 1-3/4 hours for us to get to Exmouth, the dogs love a beach, so it's a no brainer. If there were other locations between say Bournemouth and Exeter that provided good MoHo facilities we would head there on. Friday night or Saturday morning and come home on Sunday having injected a bit of cash into the local facilities.

We have stayed at Portesham but that's not quite right for a dog beach walk. Eype carpark for bacon sarnies but not an overnight.
