I’ve got a safe fitted, just wondering where to sleep as there’s no room for anything else

Don't know who fitted your safe but they put the door on back to front.
The bolts go on the inside so you can't cut them.
Specialist contractors called Dodgeit&Bodgeit, they promised they were good too

I find cooks bra as safe as anywhere, not only is it robust and well constructed, it holds a lot .
Exactly where the market traders & gypsy women keep there cash.

You’ll have to keep an eye open for the smash and grab merchants!

We don’t keep valuables in the van. Unless you call iPad a valuable, and that’s left out. I should think most scrotes have better “stuff” than me as I’m not bothered about the trappings of wealth. Old iPhone, old iPad,wallet in pocket, wedge in back pocket (go on,try to if you dare,my buttocks are very sensitive),no watch, one small ring on my pinky. Passports usually with us.

But if you have lots of goodies, get a safe.

I also.

Friend of mine thought he would try in the pub one day when I was half-cut.

When he picked himself off the floor he realised his mistake. One does not stop to identify a potential pickpocket.

If they are sentimental valuables leave them locked up at home, otherwise that's what insurance is for. I took all my jewellery to the shop and weighed it in. It's surprising how little it was worth.

That brought back memories of my grandfather. Long before credit cards and debit cards, when cash was king he always had a front flap pocket in his suit trousers, similar to a hip pocket only with a deep pocket lining. He always carried a bundle of notes when out, just in case a deal was to be had. He was known as big Wilf and we always thought it was because he was of large stature, but it turned out it was because of the large roll bulging in his strides.
