I have located a replacement engine for my van (supposed to be a 2.2 /115 /2010 out of a Transit).I need to find whereabouts the codes/numbers are on the Ford engines -anyone know?

Tried the Transit owners club and got the list off ideal engines but I need to know where the code is on the actual engine which is not in the van so Iknow its suitable.Thanks anyway--will let you know how I end up .
