 Trezien, lovely, right on miles of coastal paths and access to sandy beaches. Beach just down from Aire has a no dog sign but further up they can go on but tides look a bit strong. So Elmo returned to the van dry for once. On our walk along the coastal path this afternoon we spotted a group of Homosapien Nakedus swimming in the surf:smiley: ::bigsmile:

Le Faou right alongside the estuary and parked alongside another Funster! VWSooty  The Aire is now a commercial Aire 12 euros (114 Brittany) but we Funsters and several other vans are happily parked up outside  think this must be a recent change as lots of vans arriving and looking puzzled to see a barrier.

Had an awful day yesterday, just south of Saumur hit loads of closed roads for a cycling race. Gave up trying to get to the planned acsi site. Stopped on a car park of a petanque club to work out where we were and they came out and asked us to leave. Trouble with British motorhomes parking up and using water / dumping waste. They did help when they realised we were only lost. Needed sanctuary so now at Parc Verger!

Living in the van on our drive while our bungalow is being extended.
We are taking out almost the entire back wall to open into the huge open plan living/kitchen/dining room (steel work has to be seen to be believed) and reconfiguring every other existing room, so there is nowhere habitable.
Been in the van for 3 weeks now - only another 8 weeks to go!

Sitting in the van, having lunch, parked outside Rapido headquarters in Mayenne. We stopped here this morning to see if we could get any info on our faulty external temp guage and spoke to Anthony Pfaff (who was a bit surprised to find us on his doorstep) and he very kindly arranged for an electrician to have a look at it at 2 this afternoon. So after a short (16 km) drive trying to find somewhere to pass the time and then ending up in the centre of Mayenne (not the best place to be in moho) we ended up parked right outside the gates ::bigsmile: Mr Pfaff is a very nice man

No don't think so, we asked about a shop for accessories they haven't got one. We were at their head office and the factory was across the road. From our conversation with Mr Pfaff it sounds like they send out spares to people or ask you to order through a Rapido dealer. It may take a while depending on what you need but they do seem to be very efficient. So it would probably be better to give them or a dealer a ring. Have to say we were very impressed at how helpful they were. Especially as we dropped in unannounced and they were very busy.
