Is he in some far off country that has no Internet wizardry ?
Or perhaps he is in deepest, darkest Devon at his favourite Dealership waiting the arrival of a new toy ?

EDIT just checked and nothing since Dec 24th, so i'm with you in hoping all is OK with him/them.
