Hi all, thinking about the drought in France at the moment and potential water restrictions. Has anyone experienced any difficulties filling their vans at the Aires?

We've not stayed on any Aires but have viewed a few in the Loire Valley and Normandy; no restrictions evident.

I suspect that the restrictions, if any, would be local; where and when are you planning to go?

Speaking to a relative in Paris today, apparently you can walk across the Loire river bed in some places. Will see for ourselves in a couple of weeks.

That's the main reason I don't like the Loire its always just too shallow to be a nice river.
I much prefer the Lot and the Dordogne.
But I guess they will be suffering as well
