We have read on here that sites in the South of Spain get crowded for the winter season.

We are heading down to the Costa del Sol at the beginning of March, 2018, for about six weeks, before heading up to our base in France.

Are the sites likely to still be crowded or have the "snowbirds" left by then?

I wouldn't worry you will see hundreds of Motorhomes heading North..............if you are going through France most of the sites will be closed though

You will be okay in March, quite a few head home then although it's the end of March when we leave.

We use Aires in France when in transit never any problem as most are empty but you may find some have water turned off so fill up whenever you can.
