Hello I'll be in Sainte-Anne d'Auray in the 56 department from the 12 of august sometime during the day... to the 19th. I'm visiting my daugther while she is on hols in that area.
I've booked in the "camping municipal du Motten".
I already know that she'll have friends visiting from saturday to monday (I think it's at the beginning of my stay... have to check this) so anyone who feels like calling in .... looking forward to meeting new funsters while in the right area for that!

Ferry from Newcastle on 2nd September, returning on 29th September.

This will be our first trip in motorhome and planning to spend it in France this time. Not planned on where abouts though. Will just see how each day flows.

02 Sept until mid October . Le shuttle. No plan, just following the weather. Hopefully Brittany it’s been a while, Puy du Fou, but who knows. Hopefully see some Funsters..

Already here! Did 10 days at Le Mans 24 hour race, spent some time in the Bordeaux region, wine tasting, dashed to the west coast to try and temper the heat a little. Currently at a lovely Camping Car Park site on a little island called Ile Madame. Unpopulated, nothing here except a couple of beaches and some fishing huts.

The best bit...only accessible at low tide by drinking across a rough pebble causeway.! Fantastic find.

Tunnel on the 6th August. 10 days meandering where the mood takes us before meeting family in Spain. Plenty of relaxation before returning to work on 19th September

He knows I have magic checks given (mainly given... I only pay a little for 300 euros given) by Latecoere firm whose Balma Stadium is looked after by... me!
We've been quite a few times on campsites when touring France where I could pay with those checks, especially when we had problems with our hymers: brakes for him and fridge for me!
