Hi all

I had a heavy duty wheel clamp on our last MoHo that had steel wheels. This won't fit our 16" alloys so I'm on the lookout for a good lock. I fit it to the front driver's side wheel so I have less chance of forgetting it and my old one was bright orange as a further reminder!!

I appreciate the thing about angle grinders but something substantial should at least be a deterrent.

Anyone use these and have any recommendations please?

Thanks

Thanks.

I have one of those but it's not quite big enough for my wheels. Maybe they do different sizes? I'll take a look.

Cheers

Looks like this one will fit

Bulldog EM4X4SS Euroclamp

I have one of those Centaurs as well but it is again too small and it's seriously heavy.

Towsure have a good range so a trip to Halesowen this week I think.

Thanks for the tips

The Centaur one is excellent but could take a finger off so we much prefer the Euroclamp one & same security rating with the locking wheel nuts added.

Looks like that would trop the vehicle being driven away, but not stop rouges changing the wheel, maybe the van spare, then taking the van? Did I miss something?
It has Gold Sold Secure rating when used with a locking wheel nut so again have the highest rated ones that we could find!

I’ve got one of these and it’s a beast of a clamp, which is exactly what I think a wheel clamp should be.

I have one of those I used on my box trailer. Massive and really heavy. I agree it's a beast. Not big enough for my MoHo but certainly worth looking at - despite the price!

I believe that you need to use locking wheel nuts, together with the clamp to achieve the security rating....

I’m surprised it won’t fit. I’ve got the adjustable one, and that fits my MoHo and also fits my Land Rover Defender wheel with big mud tyres on. They can go up to 32” diameter and 12” wide.

There are two sizes of Bulldog Centaur https://www.bulldogsecure.com/browse/bulldog-car-motorhome-4x4/wheel-clamp/33 - we had the larger CA2000C which fit the 16 inch steel wheels on our previous motorhome but a tighter fit (less clearance on wheel arch) on the 16 inch alloy wheels on our current one. The Centaur is well made & reassuringly heavy duty but the Euroclamp (with locking wheel nut fitted) gives the same level of security & is quicker & easier to fit so much more likely to get used.
