It's only a deterrent, but the more highly visible it is, I think the better

(Oh, and welcome!)

Hi @Ashwells we use a milenco clamp that fits over one wheel nut and grabs behind the wheel. Seems to clamp tightly on the wheel. Anything you can add to hopefully deter people nicking your pride and joy helps.

I'm another one with a Milenco clamp. As @oozzie says, it fits over one wheel. It comes with two different sized ferrules (for different wheel nut sizes). It won't however fit over a nut if you have wheel trims.
I use the smallest ferrule and fix it into the 'holes' of the wheel pressing.

Bright yellow, good visual deterrent, strange key that's difficult to copy and you can't pull it off. Comes in a canvas bag.

Of course, the determined thief would spend time angle-grinding it off.

I use the Bulldog wheel clamp, really sturdy bit of kit but as @wingman says can be got off with an angle grinder. It just deters the casual thief.

Any clamp that has a Sold Secure gold rating will keep insurers happy though to pass they only need to resist an angle grinder for 5 minutes. In general they are a deterrent the professional thief will have done his research and come tooled up.

I bought one off eBay like the ones you see on tv
Big triangle of steel with chains on the back
It certainly weighs enough and you get your own padlock.

As said it's only a deterrent if you have alloy wheels you could just thread a hefty chain through the spokes.
Used to do this with motorbikes and you can cut open a bike bike inner tube and feed the chain through it. Stops you marking the alloys :D

Put it on blocks and take the wheels home to keep with you. Very few tealeaves have a full set of the correct wheels in the van. Just make it unattractive to them.
